FIRST LOOK Inside Guest Rooms at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort DVC Island Tower

Walt Disney World has shared the first look inside the guest rooms at the DVC Island Tower at Disney’s Polynesian Villas & Bungalows.

DVC Island Tower Guest Rooms

A living room with a blue sofa, a round table, a flat-screen TV, and a wall painting. A sliding glass door opens to a balcony with a scenic view at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort's DVC Island Tower.

The 10-story tower will feature a variety of room types decorated with original artwork inspired by the Polynesian Islands, wayfinding, and the natural elements of earth, water, wind and sky. Each guest room will also feature custom pieces inspired by “Moana.” Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort introduced “Moana” theming to their other guest rooms in 2021.

Like all DVC properties, each accommodation will also have “just-like-home” amenities.

Duo Studios

Modern guest room with a large bed, green sofa, wall art, flat-screen TV, small kitchen area, and wooden floor at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort. The room is well-lit with contemporary decor and furnishings.

Duo studios will be “bright and airy” with “inspiration from the stars and the sky that the wayfinders used for celestial navigation.”

Deluxe Studios

Deluxe studios will sleep up to four and celebrate the lush flora and fauna of Polynesian islands. They will have a new layout with a seating area across from the kitchenette and a new feature for DVC deluxe studios — a dishwasher.

One- & Two-Bedroom Villas

One-bedroom villas sleep up to five and two-bedroom villas sleep up to nine. Each showcases a voyager’s journey on land and under the sea through artwork. They embrace “the beauty of water or earth” and will feature a kitchen with full-size appliances, a dining area, a washer and dryer, and an outdoor patio area.

NEW Two-Bedroom Penthouse Villas

A modern living and dining area with wooden floors and light-colored furnishings, leading to a balcony with city and waterfront views reminiscent of Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort.

Disney Vacation Club is introducing a brand-new type of accommodation in Island Tower. The two-bedroom penthouse villas are themed after “the calming balance between water and the islands” and will sleep up to eight. They have a living room and patio balcony with views of the Seven Seas Lagoon and Magic Kingdom.

Sustainable Design Details

Island Tower is constructed with sustainability in mind, in line with Disney’s 2030 environmental goals. DVC’s first-ever dishwashers contribute to their goal of minimizing waste by reducing the need for plastic utensils and single-use dishware. The rugs and carpets in the guest rooms are also made from mostly recycled plastic bottles woven into fine yarn that feels like silk.

In the video below, Walt Disney Imagineering interior designer Madeline Day hosts a tour of an Island Tower one-bedroom villa.

The opening date and booking dates were also confirmed. Check out our most recent Island Tower construction update.
