According to sources, the Universal Team Member preview availability for Epic Universe has been expanded for a second time.
Team Member Preview Availability Expanded
While Epic Universe is set to officially open to the public on May 22, Universal has already been allowing Team Members to preview the new park for the first time.
As in our original article, the first dates for the Team Member Preview in Epic Universe were only March 1 through March 7, and each Team Member could only enter the park one time. Both the dates and availability were later expanded, with Team Members allowed to visit up to three times in the period from March 1 to March 14.
Now, the availability for the Epic Universe Team Member Preview has been expanded for a second time. Team Members now have the option of adding five additional visits to the previously-released limit of three, for a grand total of eight total visits to Epic Universe.
The additional tickets are available now in the Universal External Ticket Distribution System (ETDS). Team Members must still reserve their additional dates in advance in order to take advantage of the new offering. Team Members are being encouraged to use their additional opportunities to visit Epic Universe, even if they can only attend a portion of the total day.
Apart from allowing Team Members to visit the park up to eight times, the other dates and rules for the Team Member Preview have not changed. The current first phase of the Preview is still expected to end on March 14, with a second wave to be announced at a later date. The second wave is expected to expand the preview availability to the families and friends of Team Members, since only the employees themselves could take advantage of this first preview.
No dates for the family and friends preview have been revealed yet, with the currently-published information only saying “Please stay tuned” for more details soon.
Universal is also still enforcing a strict no-photography policy during the Team Member Preview, which includes all videos and video calls.
