In an announcement from Destination D23, the Disney Villains will be taking over Hong Kong Disneyland as part of a special event.

Hong Kong Disneyland Villains Takeover Party

Disney has announced a new Halloween Time event at Hong Kong Disneyland called Uninvited: A Villains Takeover Party. The event will include the Villains taking over Main Street, U.S.A. for a limited time.

Described by Disney as “The Biggest Villains Party of All,” the event is part cavalcade, part street party, and part musical spectacular. Maleficent was accidentally left off the invitation list, so she leads the night’s takeover. Maleficent encourages the nearby guests to “call forth her uninvited counterparts.”

The party is set to include appearances from both Disney Villains and their “underlings.” The art reveals a look at some of the characters including Oogie Boogie, Gaston, the Evil Queen, Captain Hook, Lady Tremaine, and more.

Dates

The party is scheduled to begin in just two weeks, and will run from September 19 to November 2, 2025.

In other Destination D23 news for Hong Kong Disneyland, Tahitian Terrace will be replaced with a new, Moana-inspired restaurant called Wayfinders’ Table.
