Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza Place is now open at Halloween Horror Nights 2025 in Universal Studios Florida, where guests can also visit the Five Nights at Freddy’s house. We loved the house — but will the pizzeria live up to the hype?

Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza Place is a themed “overlay” for Louie’s Italian Restaurant, located in the New York area of Universal Studios Florida.

It has a special menu only available during Halloween Horror Nights and does not offer the usual Louie’s fare.

Why Not Have Both Pizza & Pasta – $14.99

Pepperoni pizza with baked spaghetti & meatballs and grated parmesan cheese

Why not have both? We can think of a few reasons. This is certainly creative, but the crust was undercooked and there wasn’t enough sauce or cheese. Plus, nearly $15 for one large slice is very overpriced for what you get.

Why didn’t they serve regular Louie’s pizza? It’s not great, but it’s better than this.

Mike…Eggs Benedict – $9.99

Eggs Benedict sandwich with Canadian bacon, egg, American cheese, and hollandaise sauce

At $10, this is another shameless cash grab. It was served at room temperature and while it didn’t taste bad, there was nothing special going on here. Starbucks is literally feet away with a better version of this breakfast sandwich for less money. There is nothing specific other than the name to make this FNAF or HHN-themed either.

Cupcake – $12.99

This is a pretty average cupcake with a great presentation and a ridiculous price at $12.99.

The raspberry filling had an off-putting texture. It reminded us of cake batter, but not in a good way. There is also a heap of frosting over the top, so don’t get this if you want a more balanced cake to frosting ratio.

Chica’s Sour Lemon Tang Mocktail – $9

Exotic Citrus syrup, cupcake syrup, Sūpāsawā, and Seagram’s club soda

This is disgusting. It’s sickeningly syrupy. We also happen to be sitting 10 feet from a Coca-Cola Freestyle machine, where you could be blindfolded and randomly hit buttons and come up with a better taste for less money.

Foxy’s Strawberry Soda Mocktail – $9

Strawberry, cupcake and exotic citrus syrups, and Seagram’s club soda

Foxy’s Strawberry Soda Mocktail was not available when we visited on opening night, but it became available later in the week. As a result, it was not included in our original video review.

Like it says in the name, this beverage is basically a strawberry soda. The citrus syrup is barely detectable. The cupcake syrup is more present, but it leaves a weird sweet aftertaste that isn’t pleasant. We don’t entirely understand why Universal insists on swirling flavored syrups in every drink. Just give us a plain strawberry soda, it would have been better.

A small fruit gummy is speared on top, though this is best ignored and not eaten with the drink. We did appreciate the hook reference for Foxy. Overall, this has a better flavor than Chica’s Sour Lemon Tang. If you must get a drink at Freddy’s, this is the better option. However, you can still just get a strawberry Fanta at the nearby Freestyle machine, so this isn’t a requirement.

Overall Thoughts

Freddy Fazbear waves above a lit Universal Studios Halloween Horror Nights sign against a dark background.

The food at Freddy’s in canon is notoriously bad, but Universal didn’t have to make that a reality. People want to eat at Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza Place, and this is not going to live up to the lowest of expectations. At the end of the day, they don’t even have the generic pizza that is served at the restaurant during usual hours. They did the bare minimum and it’s embarrassing, especially considering how good the house is.

Not to mention the prices. An average family certainly couldn’t afford five nights at this overpriced pizzeria.
