Kali River Rapids will adjust its usual winter refurbishment schedule due to the impending closure of DinoLand U.S.A., which includes DINOSAUR.
Kali River Rapids Altering Annual Refurbishment Schedule
To accommodate the closure of DINOSAUR in DinoLand U.S.A., Kali River Rapids will alter its annual winter refurbishment schedule. The attraction will be closed from October 6, 2025 and is expected to reopen in December 2025.

Earlier this year, the attraction closed for its annual refurbishment on January 6, and reopened on March 14. This allows Cast Members to refurbish aspects of the ride after the busy holiday season and while the weather is cold.
DinoLand U.S.A. will permanently close on February 2, 2026, with its last day of operation on February 1. Restaurantosaurus food will move to Harambe Market, and the DinoLand characters will meet elsewhere in the park.
Kali River Rapids

Prepared to get wet! This raft ride takes guests on a spinning circular raft through fast-moving rapids. It then plummets down a 20-foot slope.
Kali River Rapids is located in the Asia section of Disney’s Animal Kingdom. The entrance is located directly across from the Yak & Yeti quick-service restaurant. Once you’re done, consider checking out the animals on the Maharajah Jungle Trek, which is located nearby.
There are lockers available for personal items guests don’t want to get wet.
