Due to the impending closure of DinoLand U.S.A. at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, select meet and greets will be relocated.
DinoLand U.S.A. Meet and Greets Being Relocated
Once the remaining areas of DinoLand U.S.A. close on February 2, 2026, three meet and greets in the land will be relocated to new areas. Details on these new locations will be shared at a later date.

These meet and greets include Donald Duck, Chip ‘n’ Dale, and Daisy Duck. Their new locations have not yet been confirmed, but all four characters will meet somewhere new starting February 2. The final day to see them in DinoLand will be the land’s last day of operation on February 1.
Currently, guests can meet Donald Duck in DinoLand U.S.A., near Restaurantosaurus. He previously met at the gas station next to Chester & Hester’s Dinosaur Treasures. Chip ‘n’ Dale can be found in the upper Cretaceous Trail, while Daisy Duck has moved back to her original spot on the lower part of the trail.
During Cool Kid Summer, guests could encounter the fashionable duck in Restaurantosaurus for Daisy’s Dig.
The closure of DinoLand U.S.A. next year will also affect the annual refurbishment schedule of Kali River Rapids and lead to a menu update at Harambe Market.
The Boneyard closed permanently on the evening of September 1, 2025. Chester & Hester’s Dino-Rama, including TriceraTop Spin and Dinosaur Treasures, closed in late 2024.
When Tropical Americas opens in 2027, the land will include the first-ever Encanto attraction, a retheming of DINOSAUR into an Indiana Jones ride, a carousel featuring Disney Animals, and a playground.
