There’s one more Halloween churro to review at Disneyland Resort this year — the brand new Halloween Town Mayor Churro, inspired by the character from Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas.

Classic churro rolled in graham cracker sugar with marshmallow crème, and chocolate drizzle
This is two churros with the marshmallow crème dolloped between them — so if you pull them apart, the cream all falls. It also doesn’t taste much like marshmallow. That said, it’s nice that the marshmallow crème isn’t sticky.
You taste the graham cracker dusting and the typical Disney chocolate syrup. Other than the bat piece, it doesn’t feel seasonal. It’s basic.
Overall, we think the presentation is cute but not spectacular. We would have no idea this was supposed to be The Nightmare Before Christmas-inspired if the name were different. There was nothing overly wrong with the flavors, they just felt too basic compared to many of the other Halloween treats this year.
