All that remains of Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit at Universal Studios Florida is its iconic lift hill and one large loop.
Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit Demolition
There is no more coaster track on the CityWalk side of the construction site. Construction walls went up in this area in June, although the ride continued to operate through August 17. On the right side of the construction zone, closest to the Universal Studios Florida entrance, is a pile driver.
On the left side are the black barrels we spotted last week. There are also excavators and other construction vehicles.
The pile driver is in the area closest to the lagoon. There were previously planters and a sidewalk here. The pile driver may be preparing a foundation for new structures, whether related to a replacement for Rip Ride Rockit or not.

Inside the park, we got a better look at where the remaining coaster track cuts off. There is still track in the loading area, the broken end of it covered by a black tarp.

Another piece of track outside the building abruptly ends. There are some scuffs on the roof from construction work.
The lift hill and the following non-inverting loop a.k.a. The Double Take still tower over Universal Music Plaza.

The track after the loop, however, has been removed. There’s a crane backstage where the coaster used to continue.

Perhaps most noticeable to Universal Studios Florida guests will be the lack of a coaster track through the firehouse at the end of the New York street. The firehouse was modeled after the Ghostbusters headquarters and was once the entrance to Ghostbusters Spooktacular. There have been rumors of a Ghostbusters coaster replacing Rip Ride Rockit, further fueled by Ghostbusters references on the construction walls. Fast & Furious and Back to the Future references were also added to the walls.
