Following the closure of Star Wars: Launch Bay, guests can now meet Chewbacca near the Millennium Falcon in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Hollywood Studios.
The meet and greet takes place in this shaded alcove to the right of the Millennium Falcon. There was no sign, but Cast Members helped guests find the line. The line is short and capped by Cast Members; once the last people in line get their photos and autographs, Chewbacca takes a break until his next scheduled meeting time.
Chewbacca meets periodically between 11:50am and 6:50pm for around 10 minutes, although Cast Members informed us the scheduled meet and greets will not take place every day. Chewbacca is also a roaming character around Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge for additional spontaneous encounter opportunities.
Darth Vader is also now doing scheduled meet and greets near Star Tours – The Adventures Continue in Hollywood Studios.
