Reviews
*NEW* Pear Cherry Cheese Crumble – $7.29
Pie shell filled with cheesecake, cherry filling and spiced pears finished with sliced pears, streusel, and caramel
We liked the balance of the cherries and pear. The cherries are pretty tart, while the pear is subtle. A custard at the bottom helps moisten the crust. It’s a nice, compact dessert.

Boo-gogi Toasted Sandwich with Corn Cheese Soup – $15.49
Marinated beef, grilled onion, mozzarella, and kimchi aïoli on sourdough served with corn cheese soup

The sandwich is super savory. The beef is cooked well and tender. The sourdough had a garlic flavor that added a nice flavor, although it was a little too crunchy on the edges. The kimchi wasn’t overpowering.
The soup is extremely hot, but it’s a nice accompaniment. The sandwich would probably be nice dipped in the soup — the weather was just too hot for us to try that.
This is a nice people and could feed two people.

Caramel Apple Cheesecake – $7.59
Caramel cheesecake with caramelized apple filling finished with caramel drip, orange and white chocolate mousse, chocolate flakes, and a chocolate bat

You have to get deep into this to find the apple, but once you do, it’s wonderful. At first, you get more of the caramel flavor, but the apple filling helps balance. It has a natural, home-made applesauce taste. It’s a slight improvement over last year’s iteration.

Hazelnut Brownie Tart – $5.99
Hazelnut spread and brownie filling topped with purple cream cheese frosting, chocolate moon, bat, and orange sprinkles

The crust is softer than you would expect. And though it was served cold, it was very moist. The cream cheese on top is not overpowering. The hazelnut is good. It’s simple but delicious and a solid option for $6.

Pumpkin Muffin – $5.49
topped with cream cheese icing
The pumpkin muffin has become a wonderful fall staple at Jolly Holiday. It’s baked perfectly with a firm top and soft, moist bottom. The cream cheese topping makes it feel like a cupcake. The pumpkin flavor isn’t overpowering. It’s a great choice for breakfast or dessert.

Spiced Bundt Cake – $6.99
Spiced cake filled with cream cheese frosting and topped with purple glaze, sprinkles, and spiced mousse with a Mickey chocolate decoration
This is lacking something. It has all the right autumnal spices and is prepared well, but it is not quite interesting enough.
