The Fast & Furious: Hollywood Drift store is open at Universal Studios Hollywood, but it’s missing franchise-specific merchandise. Instead, guests can shop for Halloween Horror Nights and Universal Monsters items.
Fast & Furious: Hollywood Drift
Fast & Furious – Supercharged is currently being replaced with a new attraction, called Fast & Furious: Hollywood Drift. The roller coaster is expected to open at Universal Studios Hollywood in 2026. Designed to make riders feel as if they are drifting, the steel coaster has ride vehicles that rotate 360 degrees.
The official merchandise shop for the attraction is already open, and we took a peak inside. The store is decorated for the new attraction, with an industrial feel and car display pieces.
However, guests won’t find any Fast & Furious merchandise, as Universal is likely holding off until closer to the attraction’s opening. Instead, guests can shop for Halloween Horror Nights and Universal Monsters items.
Exterior and Interior
As mentioned above, the store has an industrial feel, with the exterior and interior both made of brick. The entrance doors are made of black steel, and the black exterior lighting plays into the atmosphere Universal is aiming for.
Inside, the top half of the walls are made of brick, and the bottom half is painted black. Steel display shelves and industrial-style overhead lighting make it feel like you’re walking to a mechanic’s garage. The floor is concrete.
Street signs and car items line the walls of the store. You’ll see stop signs, car parts, stop lights, tires, gas cans, and more. There is even a street sign that reads “Family Dr” which is a prominent theme in the movie franchise.
Merchandise for Sale
Halloween Horror Nights merchandise is on sale, including the “Hollywood” line, Megan popcorn bucket, and a Friday the 13th hockey jersey. We also spotted some Terrifier, Five Nights at Freddy’s, and Bates Motel items for sale.
There are also items featuring Universal Monsters, including apparel, bags, hats, and collectibles. A small display has snacks and general Universal Studios merchandise.
